Estimating Your Website's CostThe best way to estimate the cost of your site is to view a site we've actually designed and see what went into making it and what the total charges were. One of our customers, T & G Sales, is a good example. They have graciously allowed us to publish their development costs. For this site, we totally redesigned their logo and created a custom background to their specifications. The client supplied us with a basic layout for each page, as well as copy (text) and original photos. The entire site took 14 hours of actual development and production time to complete. At $24 per hour, their cost was only $336.00 for development and $75 for a year's worth of hosting, or $411.00 for their entire website. This is equivalent to $34.25 per month. About 2 hours of consultation (via phone and email) was also provided at no charge. Their previous hosting company was Yahoo.
